It has made working with my laptop much easier. This is a small product in size and cost, but this little light is a very helpful tool.
It lights up most of my keyboard (no problem typing in complete darkness) and does not flop over, like some reportedly do. The light does not have an on/off switch, but doesn't seem to use too much battery, so I just leave it in whether typing or not once I put it in. I have a new macbook and was disappointed to find the keyboard was not backlit. It also rolls up easily to be put away. I would buy the same one again if I needed one for another laptop. I looked around for a lot of lights for it, some that were $30. This is an excellent light, especially for the money (even with the shipping).
Recommended. Delivery was on time. It's only one LED, but I find if I aim it so it throws a diagonal beam across the keyboard, I can read almost all the keys. I really only need it to find my home keys anyway.Looks durable and well made.
This light is perfect for that job. The light is very sturdy with a flexible chrome plated steel cable.
The light is a bright white LED that emits no heat, so you do not have to worry about being burned by the light. The USB connector extends approximately two inches from my USB ports.
I am a software engineer that works at home. This light can plug into any of my USB ports and is just the right brightness to light the entire keyboard.
It does not have an on/off button, but then for the price this light is a real bargain. In the warmer months I work on my back porch, and needed a light that would allow me to see my keyboard in the evening hours.
I have a Dell Latitude D830 laptop with USB ports on the right side and on the back.
I would recommend this item to anyone. This is a good product; it works as described. The light could cover a bit more surface area but it gets the job done.
